About us

Jeroen Gremmen

I was born in 1982 ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. I have been working as a Montessori Physical Educator for 12 years. Besides teaching I organize many trips. As a P.E. teacher I know: sports bring people together!

Organizing a worldwide sports event has been a dream of mine for a couple of years now. Last October – at the Montessori Europe conference in Sofia, Bulgaria – several colleagues of all around the world expressed their interest in such an event. Together with my colleague Roelant we made this dream grow. I am chasing my dream by organizing the Global Montessori Games!

Roelant Wijngaards

In 1981 I was born in Beek-Ubbergen near Nijmegen, The Netherlands. For many years I worked as a English teacher, mainly at the Montessori College in Nijmegen, where I still work. This year I have started working as a coach at our new Agora education form. I also work as webmaster and public relations coordinator for our school.

Because of my experience in organizing international student exchanges I know the value of learning across the borders. Together with my colleague Jeroen, I am organizing the Global Montessori Games in 2019.

Aiden Bloodworth

I am from Bristol, England. I am a teacher with experience in different countries, including the UK,  Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and China. I have taught every level from kindergarten to college and numerous subjects, including English, science, media and PE.

I met Jeroen and Roelant, while attending the Montessori Europe conference, and witnessed the birth of the Global Montessori Games. Due to my international connections, and the enthusiasm I had for the event, I was invited to join and help achieve our goal- to connect people through sport and education.
